Controller indication and overload protection

The control knob can adjust the welding power level, and the switch can also be controlled. The knob is calibrated by energy (w/s or joule). The maximum available power is about 50w/s. The control actually regulates the charging voltage of the energy storage capacitor. The energy stored is proportional to the square of the voltage, and the voltage can vary between 15 and 80 v. Increasing the control knob will increase the charging capacitor level. But lowering the settings does not reduce the value already stored, so the welding cycle will always release the power pulse to keep up with the maximum set since the latest charge.

When the internal circuit charges the capacitor to the set value of the control knob, the panel indicator and the alarm are activated and prompted to inform the operator that the next round of work is ready. The alarm can also be used in portable operation by reminding the operator that the welding machine is open to preserve battery energy.

Circuit breakers can prevent overload. When the current is too large, the circuit breaker opens low DC or AC voltage. The fuse of 0.25A installed on the internal circuit board is connected in series with the DC power coil.
